Invitation to take part in creative workshops

We are inviting young people aged between 14 to 22 to help take part in creative co-design workshops to share your ideas and experiences that will directly inform how the City designs its leadership programs and ensure young people’s voices are heard in planning, services, and decision-making.

Participants will be asked to attend 3 workshops across May and June.

You will be paid for your time, build valuable skills and gain experience that looks great on your CV.

What's involved

Workshops for 14-22-year-olds:

  • You will participate in three interactive co‑design workshops focused on designing leadership programs and ways that young people’s voices are heard in planning, services, and decision-making.
  • Attend 3 co-design workshops at the City of Wanneroo Civic Centre in Wanneroo, on the following dates and times:
    • Saturday, 9 May between 10am – 2:30pm (includes lunch)
    • Tuesday, 2 June between 4:30pm-6:30pm
    • Tuesday, 16 June between 4:30pm-6:30pm
  • You will be paid for your time, build valuable skills and gain experience that looks great on your CV.
  • Workshops are hosted by a consultant – Youth Affairs Council WA (YACWA) and supported by City of Wanneroo youth workers.
