Proposal details

The City of Wanneroo seeks to promote healthy, active lifestyles and offer diverse travel options for residents - whether walking, wheeling, riding, or using public transport.

We are currently designing a 1,500-metre-long, 3.5-metre-wide shared pathway on the eastern side of St Andrews Drive, Yanchep. This path will stretch from the St Andrews Drive and Yanchep Beach Road intersection to the Sun City Country Club entrance.

This project is a key initiative of the City's Active Transport Plan 2022/23 to 2025/26 and is jointly funded by the State Government and the City through the WA Bicycle Network Grants Program.

It expands the Long-term Cycle Network, which aims to create a continuous bicycle network across Western Australia suitable for all ages and abilities.

Engagement approach

The City is currently consulting the community on the concept drawings and welcomes your input to help finalise the project design (See Related documents section, right hand column).

Once the consultation period ends on Sunday, 24 August 2025, the City will review all feedback to finalise the concept design. If no response is received, the City will consider it as support for the current proposal.
