Proposal details

The abovementioned development application is being advertised for public comment and proposes several reduced setbacks that result in visual privacy variations under Clause 5.4.1 of the R-Codes. These include:

  • A major opening to a living area on the north‑eastern elevation with a setback of 5.8m in lieu of the required 6m.
  • A major opening to a bedroom with a setback of 2.9m in lieu of the required 4.5m.
  • A reduced setback of 3.1m in lieu of the required 7.5m to the decking on the north‑western elevation.
  • A reduced setback of 4.6m in lieu of the required 7.5m to the screened porch/decking on the north‑eastern elevation.
