The City is supporting the re-location of Yanchep Community Garden (YGC) to Oldham Park.The garden will be situated at the rear of the clubrooms, as highlighted on the map (See Related documents).

The relocation plan includes:

• Main Garden: A secure, fenced area accessible via the pathway.
• Secondary Area: To be developed at a later date.

Yanchep Community Garden is an incorporated, community-led organisation established in 2016.They are currently located at the rear of Yanchep Central shopping centre. Due to its location within a commercial development precinct, YGC has approached the City to request an alternative site.

Development of the site is subject to City approvals, with any works causing minimal short-term disruption. On completion, access to the car park, clubrooms and oval will not be affected by the garden placement.

Works are expected to commence July/August 2025
