Project details

The City is currently developing its first Public Art Masterplan and Strategy to guide how public art is planned, invested in and delivered across the City of Wanneroo.

As a resident, artist, business owner or community member, your input is vital in helping us understand what you value, what you would like to see, and what public art means to you and your local area.

The Masterplan will address areas such as:

  • types, styles and forms of public art in public spaces
  • preferred locations and precincts for public art investment
  • how public art can reflect our local identity, culture and heritage
  • embedding First Nations and multicultural voices in public art
  • the role of developer contributions in funding public art, and
  • reducing graffiti through creative and community-led approaches.

Community responses will help shape a clear strategic framework that reflects the values and aspirations of our diverse community, and inform how the City commissions, maintains and grows its public art collection for years to come.

The survey is open until 13 July 2026.
