About the LHS

The Local Heritage Survey (LHS) for the Wanneroo area is reviewed every four to eight years. It includes a recommended ‘Heritage List’ of the most significant places within the City and includes policies to support the future conservation of these places.

In Phase 1, community engagement took place between November 2021 and February 2022 inviting the community to help us identify places of cultural heritage significance using our online interactive mapping tool and other channels.

The City then undertook further research and a rigorous assessment process before updating the LHS, which you are now able to provide further feedback on.
