Proposal details

The abovementioned development application is being advertised for public comment and proposes the following:

  • Earthworks associated with an approved subdivision, including the borrowing and redistribution of sand to facilitate subdivision works. The original site levels range from RL 29.0 to RL 40.5, with proposed finished levels ranging between RL 28.5 and RL 40.0.
  • The works are anticipated to occur over a 14-week period from the date of commencement.
  • Earthworks material will be extracted from Balance Lot 9020 and transported to, and deposited on, approved residential lots forming part of the subdivision approved by the Western Australian Planning Commission (Ref: 163845), specifically Stage 1B and Stage 1C as shown on the endorsed subdivision concept plan.
  • Primary access to the site will be via Grenadier Street to minimise impacts to Bower Grove. An 1800mm-high construction fence will be installed, including sand drift fencing along the Bower Grove interface. Vehicle and plant movements will occur between 7:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, and 7:30am to 5:00pm on Saturdays.
  • A Dust and Sand Drift Management Plan will be implemented to manage potential amenity and environmental impacts during the works, and site-based contact details will be provided to ensure that any enquiries or complaints can be addressed promptly throughout the construction period.
