Proposal details

The abovementioned development application is being advertised for public comment and proposes a new three storey building, which will appear as three storey from the front (western) lot boundary, and one storey from the rear (eastern lot boundary).

The proposal will be assessed against the Design Principles of the Part B of the Residential Design Codes (R-Codes). You are invited to provide comment on the proposal with regard to the following Design Principles:

  • Clause 5.1.3 Lot boundary setbacks (setbacks to northern (left) and southern (right) lot boundaries;
  • Clause 5.1.4 Open space;
  • Clause 5.1.6 Building height;
  • Clause 5.3.7 Site works and retaining walls;
  • Clause 5.4.1 Visual privacy (second floor balcony to north); and
  • Clause 5.4.2 Solar access to adjoining sites.
