Invitation to have your say

Tell us what you think about the City’s proposal to open the gate at the Frederick Stubbs Car Park in Quinns Rocks daily at 5.00am on a permanent basis.

In 2023, due to a request from the community, the gate opening time was changed to 5am on a trial basis, to allow people to access the car park prior to 6am for exercise.

The increased opening hours were considered beneficial to allow for greater exercise periods and to reduce parking congestion on Ocean Drive, Robert Rd and in the café car park. The adjusted 5am opening time has been in place over the past two summers.

Access will be controlled by an electronic gate and be monitored by CCTV.
