The City of Wanneroo resolved at its Ordinary Meeting of Council on 26 May 2026 to advertise the following proposed Local Law:

PARKING LOCAL LAW 2026

The purpose of the proposed Parking Local Law 2026 is to enable the City to regulate the parking of vehicles within the district, to strengthen road and pedestrian safety, to improve the flow of traffic and provide for the management and operation of parking facilities under the City of Wanneroo’s care, control and management.

The effect is that a person parking a vehicle within the parking region is to comply with the provisions of the Parking Local Law.

A copy of the proposed law may be inspected at the City of Wanneroo offices at 23 Dundebar Road, Wanneroo during normal office hours.
