Invitation to have a say (Closed)

We are seeking input from Merriwa Primary School parents and guardians to help us improve road safety and encourage active modes of transport such as cycling and walking to and from school.

This research project is part of the City’s Active Transport Plan 22/23-25/26 and connectivity project with Main Roads and Department of Transport.

Your feedback will help us understand how children travel to the school daily and preferred options for a potential school crossing over Connolly Drive.

Comments are invited through our online interactive map and community survey, which will help the city decide on safe and preferred options.

How to provide feedback

  • Step 1 - Go to the interactive public map

Outline where you live, the child's typical transport route to school and comment on any hazards, missing infrastructure or ideas for improving traffic flow and safety (See Interactive Map and Map Instructions tabs below).

  • Step 2 - Complete the community survey

Through the survey, see the available crossing options and your preferences for changing access to the school and form of transport (See Community survey tab below).

  • Step 3 - Contact us directly

If you have trouble using the map or survey, or need support, call the project team or email your views (See Contact details RHS column).
