Project details

The City is reviewing of the Community Facilities Plan (CFP) for the North Coast Growth Corridor, which includes the suburbs of Alkimos, Eglinton, Yanchep and Two Rocks—one of the fastest-growing areas in the City of Wanneroo.

Originally adopted in 2012 and updated in 2020, the CFP serves as a strategic, high-level guiding document to inform the planning and delivery of community infrastructure, as well as the preparation of Development Contribution Plans (DCPs) across the corridor. A five-year review of the CFP has now been completed.

The draft updated Community Facilities Plan:

  • Identifies community facility needs now, in the short term (next 10 years), and long term (beyond 2041)
  • Is informed by population growth, demographic trends, and emerging community needs
  • Provides a strategic framework to guide future decision-making and investment
  • Does not determine detailed facility design or delivery timelines at this stage

As the plan progresses, individual projects will be identified and executed. This will include consultation with relevant stakeholders and the community.

Feedback invited

We are now inviting visitors, businesses, residents and other stakeholders to share their views on the Draft North Coast Growth Corridor Community Facilities Plan.

Submissions may be lodged via email to leisure.planning@wanneroo.wa.gov.au on or before 14 July 2026.
