Proposal details
The abovementioned development application is being advertised for public comment and proposes the following:
- The change of use from ‘Community Outreach Centre’ to ‘Child Care Premises’ (originally approved as a ‘child care premises’ in 1993, however the use was changed to ‘community outreach centre’ in 2007).
- Modified vehicle access along Baltimore Parade (including the removal of one crossover) to access 22 car parking bays, consisting of 10 visitor parking bays, 1 ACROD bay and 11 staff bays. The crossover along Jenolan Way is to be retained and will provide access to two staff bays.
- A maximum of 76 children and 14 staff.
- Modifications to the front garden area facing Baltimore Parade, including the addition of an access ramp, retaining walls, landscaping and fencing.
- Minor changes to the façade of the building, consisting mostly of modification to windows/doors.
