Proposal details
The abovementioned development application is being advertised for public comment and proposes the following:
The main difference between the previously advertised plans and the current plans is the building height, as the Ground Floor Level (previously the Basement Level) has been increased by 3.1 metres so that excavation within the verge is no longer required. The overall building height has therefore increased by 3.1 metres. Some of the main amendments and modifications include:
- The modification of dwelling configurations, now resulting in all dwellings being 2- bedroom x 2-bathroom dwellings.
- Modification to the resident parking area.
- The removal of the shade sail over the car parking bays to the eastern side of the car park.
- Increase in visitor parking bays.
- Modification of waste store and collection areas, and removal of storerooms within the street setback area.
- The inclusion of a covered communal area located under the main building
- Removal of internal pathway adjacent to the Units 1 – 5, adjoining the Gnangara Road road reserve
Details of the proposal are as follows:
- A 4 storey development comprising 23 units, all being two-bedroom dwellings.
- 34 resident parking bays and 4 motorcycle bays located to the western portion of the lot.
- 8 visitor parking bays to the south-eastern side of the lot, adjoining the existing town houses.
- Communal open space consisting of an undercover communal area, large outdoor garden/communal space with barbeque facilities, and associated landscaping.
- Storerooms along western lot boundary.
