Proposal details
The abovementioned development application is being advertised for public comment and proposes both fill and excavation to reduce the natural slope across the site for the existing market garden land use. Both fill and excavation on site are battered with a slope incline of 1:2.
The earthworks are proposed with a 10m setback from the street boundary and minimum 1m from west, south and east lot boundaries. Plantation is proposed along lot boundaries to provide screening to the batter.
The excavation is proposed along western lot boundary with a maximum height of 5m to minimum 1m. The fill is proposed to occur to the rear portion of the site with lower natural levels. The fill height along southern lot boundary varies from maximum height of 4.5m to minimum 2.5m.
