Proposal details

The abovementioned development application is being advertised for public comment and proposes the following:

  • Lot 50 (3) Salcott Road:

o Demolition of the existing “Minor Hall’ building located adjacent to the northern site boundary;

o Demolition of the existing two storey administration building located centrally on the site,

o Removal of the existing carpark adjacent to Salcott Road,

o Construction of a new three-storey administration and teaching block,

o Construction of a new “Kiss and Ride” carpark adjacent to Salcott Road,

o Redevelopment and extension of the existing carpark central to the site, and

  • Lot 100 (4) Salcott Road

o Demolition of the existing single residence,

o Demolition of existing sheds,

o Extension of the existing teaching block building to accommodate storage and maintenance facilities.

o Change of use of the existing teaching block to Community Purposes, to transfer uses currently accommodated in the “minor hall” to be demolished at Lot 50 (3) Salcott Road,

o New carparking,

o Facility for the storage and collection of refuse,

· Associated landscaping across both sites.

· The additions to increase the schools capacity to a maximum 350 students.

· Total of 79 car bays across the two school sites.
