Invitation to have your say

The City invites you to provide feedback on our new Environment and Sustainability Strategy 2026-2036.

The strategy supports Goal 2 of the City’s Council Plan: A Sustainable City and focuses on the three priority areas identified.

  1. Greener Cooler Communities
  2. Clean Energy Transition
  3. Innovative Waste Practices

The strategy is focusing on those three areas as a result of the community engagement on the City's Council Plan.

Environmental and sustainability challenges across the City are complex and connected. The City cannot address them alone, so we need the community’s ideas and support.

By working together—such as greening our neighbourhoods—we can create positive outcomes for everyone.
