Proposal details
At its 24 February 2026 meeting, Council resolved to initiate Amendment No. 217 for the purposes of:
- Introducing zoning, local scheme reservation and residential density controls into District Planning Scheme No. 2 (DPS 2) over parts of the Banksia Grove locality affected by the City’s Banksia Grove Agreed Local Structure Plan No. 21A (ASP 21A); and
- Removing the maximum retail net lettable area cap from the DPS 2 text for the Banksia Grove District Centre
