Project details

The City of Wanneroo is renewing our Active Transport Plan (ATP) to set the strategic direction and priorities for walking, cycling, and other forms of active travel across the entire City for the next five years.

This plan will guide our investments in new infrastructure, programs, and initiatives that make it easier, safer, and more appealing to choose active transport for your everyday journeys.

Why Your Input Matters

This is your opportunity to influence the strategy that directs active transport in the City. We need your feedback to ensure the new ATP is effective, relevant, and aligned with community needs.

We are specifically seeking your input on:

  • Strategic Priorities: What are the most important outcomes the City should aim for (e.g., safety, connectivity, health)?
  • Missing Links: Where are the key gaps in the current walking and cycling network, and what routes should be prioritised for future planning?
  • Behaviour Change: What initiatives (education, events, incentives) will encourage you and your neighbours to walk or ride more often?
